DePuy ASR Recall - Hip System Recall Guide
DePuy Orthopaedics has issued a voluntary hip replacement recall of its ASR™ XL Acetabular Hip System and DePuy ASR™ Hip Resurfacing System. This DePuy ASR™ recall means additional testing and monitoring may be necessary. These systems first became available in July 2003. If you had your hip surgery prior to July 2003, the hip you received is not subject to this ASR™ recall.
